THERAPY FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE:
Ready to stop feeling disconnected & ready for long-term change.
Specialized, insight-oriented therapy for Millennial and GenZ women across Texas who are ready for a life beyond people-pleasing, relationship conflicts, and family drama.
You’re tired of being expected to tolerate bullsh*t.
Picture this: you’re sitting at home, relaxed, feeling at peace. You’re looking forward to the plans you have later that day, not feeling worried about how things will go. There is no overarching sense of dread or unease, like something bad is just around the corner. Life feels good, manageable, and freeing…
…But that’s not your life right now. Everything feels more challenging than you feel like it should be.
“Why is it so easy for everyone else?” You might ask yourself.
This feeling of being broken has caused so much suffering for so long.
Are you ready for something to be different?
I want to help.
You don’t have to do it alone.
Meet Your Therapist
Hi, I’m Emma—an Austin, Texas-based therapist providing one-on-one online therapy for individual adults who are tired of feeling guilty, overwhelmed, and disconnected everyone and everything. I specialize in helping women experience regaining control of their lives by overcoming challenges with learning to prioritizing themselves without feeling selfish or worrying about what others think of them, and talk to people without breaking down. I work with professionals, high-achievers, and people-pleasers who have spent years carrying the emotional weight of complicated and dysfunctional family dynamics and the pressure to always be “the responsible one.”
In therapy with me, you and I will work together to get to the root of the issue.
I’ve been where you are. Let’s take the journey together.
Why “Roll For Insight Psychotherapy?”
Est. in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, Roll For Insight refers to the tabletop roleplaying game (and one of my favorite hobbies) Dungeons & Dragons, and the choice players can make in-game to gain insight into their character’s current situation. My logo further represents this concept by using the shape of the 20-sided dice—or “d20”— players roll to make these choices. In Dungeons & Dragons, players are guided by a “Dungeon Master” that helps them tell their story and directs clients when to roll the dice to gain insight, better perceive their environments, and take initiative in the game.
In therapy, I am like your emotion-journey Dungeon Master, guiding you and staying along your side every step of the way, playing both an observational and supportive roll for you. And just like a player in D&D, you get the ultimate choice of what your next steps are, not the Dungeon Master, so you always have the final say in therapy with me.
